Vanginderhuysen weer

Please excuse my terrible Flemish. I recently discovered the middle name of Maria Catharina Vanginderhuysen. She was born about 1815. Her natural son Joannes Josef Vanginderhuysen was born 14 May 1869 in Diest. I suspect Maria Catharina was a daughter of Henri/Henricus Vanginderhuyser. Henri may have been the same man as Henricus Quintin Vanginderhuysen who married Anna Catharina Defour. Does anyone know this family or if Maria is the daughter of Henri? Thank you for reading.

Thanks for taking a look Jan!

I have another question about the database: When I had a full membership I was able to learn from the marriage records that:

Michael Magdalens (born 1774 died 21 Jun 1840) was listed as the father in the marriage record of his son Ludovicus Magdalens (born 1809) and his wife Maria Gertrudis Jacobs (born 1814). I was also able to discover the father of Maria Gertrudis Jacobs in the marriage records as Franciscus Jacobs (died 14 Nov 1828).

Is it possible now to learn the names of their mothers in the database?

ear lorijeremy, I found something in the archive of Diest. Joannes Vanginderhuyzen is born in 1839. His mother (Maria Catharina) was at that time 25 years old. So she must be born at ca 1814. -> look at photo. I found 1 M.C.vgh born in 1819 (father = Henry, mother = A.C. Defour) I found another M.C.vgh born 4/2/1814. father = Egide, mother = Anne Elisabeth Boonen. There were for sure a lot of brothers/sisters, cousins ... ---- Your second question: Ludovicus Magdalens ° 01/09/1809 prof. = Barbier (Barber) f = Michaël m = Anna Helena Parys X 19.08.1840 Maria Gertrudis Jacobs ° 14/03/1814 prof. = Werkvrouw ("workwoman"?) f = Franciscus m = Joanna Goyen

Harte danke, Jan! I missed that 25 years looking at the certificate. As you have guessed my Dutch is woeful :-) Also thank you for finding the new names and the mothers!

I have a strange situation with this Maria Catharina's grandaughter/my overgrootmoeder Maria Paulina Henrica Vanginderhuysen (geboren 29 Jun 1869, Diest). I have her birth certificate so I know her parents Joannes Josef Vanginderhuysen and Antonia Magdalens are correct. The only Antonia Magdalens I have been able to find is mentioned in a marriage record of Josephus Bernardus Edmondus Vanginderhuysen:

If those records are for her brother and her mother Antonia, that would put Antonia's death date at 1885. Here is where things get extremely strange: we have family photos from 1920's-early 1930's. On the back of those photos the writing is in Danish and refer to, "your mother". If it was Henriette's mother Antonia, she should have been dead for many years. And why they would be wroting in Danish is a complete mystery We have no Danes in the family as far as anyone has ever heard of.
